Hydrogen on demand is the generation of hydrogen using electrolysis to provide an enriched air mixture to the engine so that combustion is more efficient.
-
Unlike traditional hydrogen vehicles, there is no high-pressure hydrogen storage required. Because it is a hydrogen on demand solution, the gas is produced only while the engine is running and consumed immediately. This makes it one of the safest solutions available today.
-
We don’t. That is physically impossible. Modern diesel engines only have around a 50% fuel efficiency. As a consequence over time carbon deposits accumulate in the engine. An enriched air mixture helps burn off these impurities, effectively help to clean the engine and increasing that fuel efficiency.

There are pros and cons to any technology.
You also want to ensure that you don’t void any insurance coverage or warranties with the incorporation of this technology. The approach to this differs by jurisdiction. Usually certification by an appropriately licensed engineer is sufficient.
Hydrogen is produced at a rate of about 500ml a minute and consumed as it is produced, so the only storage is in a short piece of piping.

Cost of unit + cost of installation + cost of shipping + cost of certification? A stand alone single unit retails for $3000 USD

Low single digit thousands for supply and installation per unit. Your return on investment should be approximately 3 months, but depends on your milage and cost of certifications. Our case studies paid for themselves in 2.4 months on average.

If you have a fleet of more than 20 trucks, we will offer guarantees that de risk this for you.
-
We are happy to ship you a unit.
-
The unit is powered by the alternator and connects to the turbo. When the engine starts the unit starts and when the engine stops the unit stops. The unit is housed in a side mount box.

The most immediate impact is a major boost in diesel fuel efficiency. Most users see fleet fuel savings and an increase in MPG. Beyond the financial gains, our HOD fuel system is a leading carbon footprint reduction tool, helping companies meet eco-friendly logistics standards by drastically reducing NOx emissions and particulate matter (soot).
-
Probably. This is a heavy-duty engine retrofit designed for versatility across the commercial trucking and sustainable transport sectors. Whether you are managing a fleet of long-haul semis or heavy machinery, our water-to-fuel technology can be integrated without permanent engine modifications, making it a "plug-and-play" solution for green fleet management.
